Julius Kayode Adesiyan was ordained as Pastor in The Lighted Church in 2000 during the church’s first Anniversary. As one of the founding members of the church, he has grown since the inaugural service to become a pillar of strength in The Light of The World Outreach Ministries as the Missions and Outreach Director. A New Year child, Pastor K as he’s fondly called has a degree of Bachelors in Political Science and is an ardent believer in TLC’s triology of the Word, Worship and Outreach. Pastor Kayode Julius Adesiyan is married to Pastor Abiodun who is the Head of the Church Care Department. They have two lovely daughters, Shamma and Shalom.
TLC’s resplendent daughter of God, Pastor Chichi Viana Eneanya is the bright one. She gets to core issues very quickly with her creative and visionary yet realistic savvy of the ways of the Lord. A teacher and an inspirational motivator, she’s easy going and believes that Christ has done all the redemptive work. With a sound collegiate education from the University of London and a good platform at Temple Schools, Ilupeju, Lagos, Nigeria, Pastor Chichi is always open to new ideas – and gladly seeks advice from others before making a decision. She proudly tells you that the Christ in her teaches her to learn from mistakes and failures. She’s a widow and the proud mother of Ebelechukwu and the HOD of Women of Light.
Since joining The Lighted Church in April 2003, Pastor Amos Oluwasina Akpan has become probably one of the few known Christ entrepreneurs in Nigeria. A very concerned minister of the gospel and a kingdom ‘sower’, he is the HOD of the Men’s Fellowship also known as Men On A Mission and a committed coordinator in the Music Department. Pastor Akpan is the CEO of Capital Airlines and loves teaching and evangelism. A disciple waiting for The Rapture, he was ordained a Pastor in December 2007 and married to Olaitan Oyuwa and they are blessed with 4 children, Emem, Nsikan-Abasi, Kufre-Abasi and Utibe Uwem.
DEACONESS ANNABELLE N. URUAKPA. She aspires to be the best that she can be and by the special grace of God, that aspiration comes to fruition all day, each day. Deaconess Annabelle Nkonyewum Uruakpa is the quiet achiever and committed member of the Lighted Church since inception. She was ordained in 2000 and she has been an encouraging and stabilizing shoulder for the congregation with a wealth of wisdom. Deaconess Annabelle has four children, Chichi, Ebere, Okezie and Violet and today, she’s a proud grandmother.
Rev. Paul is TLC’s Head of Publicity & Public Relations and a known Biblical steward who is committed to church growth and planting, congregants’ family enrichment, and forthright leadership. Born and raised Catholic, Paul accepted Christ as his personal Savior and hungered to know more. The CEO of Ecologistics Nigeria Ltd, he has an MBA from the renowned Colorado Technical University and is an alumna of Harvard Business School. He received formal Theological education almost twenty years ago and has grown his passion for development work from his work with New York City Center for Dysfunctional Families to launching Nedlink Foundation in 2002. He brings hope everywhere and God has blessed him abundantly by bringing into his life a godly, prayerful woman, Feyisayo Abolo, who shares his Christian family vision.
Beautiful, intelligent and above all passionate about things pertaining to salvation, Pastor Olaitan Oyuwa Akpan is the Head of the Intercessory Department and also a member of the Marriage Committee. With degrees of Masters in Educational Planning and Bachelors in History and with joy in her heart only God can give, she takes her pastoral counseling with Esthers Fellowship for young “Queens” beyond rigid boundaries and regimentation and uses appropriate activities to help create a community of committed worshippers among the young ones thus creating opportunities for them to come into a common bond of God’s love through Jesus Christ. She is married to Pastor Amos Akpan and they are blessed with 4 children.
Wife of Minister Emeka Mozia, Minister Uzoamaka Ethel Mozia packs a punch. As head of TLC Drama and Media Departments, she possesses great leadership qualities and experiences that enable her share God’s word with everybody through her platforms. With spiritual maturity, self-motivation, discipline, organization and great communication skills, she demonstrates Godly character and leads well in her easy-to-deal-with style. Minister Amaka has BSc in Political Science and works successfully and harmoniously with other church workers. She is adaptable and flexible in balancing her priorities, including her professional and personal life and loves to watch her two very young sons resolve issues their own way.
PASTOR LUCKY BAMAWO
Pastor Lucky Usunobun Otabor Bamawo brings strength and fortitude as one of the pioneer members of The Lighted Church. He is the Head of Department for Works and Maintenance as well as the Assistant Head of the Men’s Fellowship. He has a BSc in Marketing and a diploma in French. Married to Magdelene Eghe since 2001, Lucky is an active and a dedicated servant of the Lord. He plays a huge role in Exploits-The Business Seminar where he is a coordinator. He was ordained as a Pastor in December 2007.
MINISTER CHUKWUEMEKA MOZIA. If TLC has built strong solid ministers for the up-building of the Kingdom of God, Emeka Christopher Mozia is one promise of that dream. In few words, he loves evangelical work. By self determination and a glorious vision of life in Christ since joining The Lighted Church in 2000, he has equipped himself through self-training to become the total man and the effective servant of the Lord. Emeka is the Assistant Head of the Drama Department and a member of the Mass Choir for TLC’s Special Annual Carol Night Service. Emeka is married to Amaka Mozia and they have been blessed with two sons, Daniel and Theodore.
Pastor Uzor Frederick Ogwuazor was ordained a Pastor in December 2007 and is the quintessential resourceful Christian who’s helping both old and young congregants of TLC to find sincere Christian fellowship and service. He applies himself to the entire process. He designs and executes the church program for new members and oversees the critical stages of Christian relationship auditing. He encourages youth leadership through supervision, delegation, and participation and has been a faithful member of the church since inception. He is the Head of Counseling Department. Married to Fidel they have a daughter, Joy and a son, Joseph.
Chattered Accountant, Banker, Husband and Father, Minister Abiodun Durosinmi balances emphasis on people and results. He’s trusted and credible – packed with strong values, high integrity, and very conscientious. With a philosophy and firm belief that with God all things are possible, the man of God is open and forthright with no hidden agendas. He is the Head of the Church’s Accounts Department and member of the Finance and Advisory and the Marriage Committees. With attention to details, he emphasizes cooperation and alignment and believes in empowering brethren in their work for Christ and their businesses. With his wife, Sister Gladys Durosinmi, they have four beautiful children.
He’s devout and determined. He develops loyalty by showing interest. He builds his own lifestyle by talking to people and investing in relationships. Minister Olaoye Afolabi is sociable, friendly, warm, supportive and very approachable. Member of TLC’s highly valued Protocol Team; he reads people and situations well. And because he works closely with the Snr. Pastor and Church Leader, Charles Ojei, he’s diplomatic, tactful and astute. As Transaction Officer in the Bank, he’s persuasive and knows how to influence and win others over to his side. He has BSc in Business Administration and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Economics of Nigeria. Minister Afolabi is happily married and has one child.
